As the weather changes and we begin to prepare for the holiday season, you may find yourselves spending more time

indoors than before. Keeping energetic preschoolers busy is always a challenge! Invest in some indoor activities now to avoid the Boredom Blues later! Here is a recipe for play dough that is sure to engage your preschooler for hours.

COOKED PLAY DOUGH

1 cup flour

1/2 cup salt

1 cup water

1 T. vegetable oil

2 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:

Heat until ingredients form a ball. Add food coloring or a packet of Kool-Aid for color.

Chapel Time

Our first month of Chapel was a lot of fun!!  We talked about God, the things He made and how special we are.  We had the most fun singing praises.  It was endearing to watch the children learn to talk to God through prayer. 

Favorite Songs:  “Two Little Hands” and “ He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”.

November:  We will continue with Enthusiasm to learn about gifts of love, friendships and family.  The classes will gather together for a Prayer Service and Thanksgiving Feast.

THANK YOU

We would like to thank our Room Parents who helped us with our Pumpkin Patch, and especially , Andreae Valdez for organizing our event.  The children really enjoyed picking out pumpkins.

FUNDRAISER

On Tuesday, November 1st and Wednesday, November 2nd we will have a representative from Cookie Lee Jewelry  at the preschool during drop off time and pick up time. The money the preschool earns will be donated to our Sister School, San Miguel Preschool.

Cash donations will also be accepted.

We would like to Congratulate our  preschool families on their new “bundles of joy”:

Alissa P. in the Blue Room has a new brother, James, born on October 22nd, 8lbs, 8 oz.,

21 inches long.              

CJ L. in the Orange Room PM has a new brother, Sage, born on September 20th, 6lbs. 12 oz.

Catherine T. in the Yellow Room has a new sister, Sarah, born on October 8th, 8 lbs., 19.5 inches long.
